At seazn, your trust is everything. Our Terms of Service set the ground rules for using seazn—what you can expect from us, what we ask of you, and how things like accounts, features, and subscriptions work. No fine print, no surprises—just transparent, fair terms.
Our Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and SEAZN. By creating an account, downloading, accessing, or using SEAZN’s websites, mobile/desktop apps, chatbots, and related services (collectively, the “Services”), you accept these Terms.
WHO MAY USE THE SERVICES
Age. You must be at least 18 to use the Services.
Territorial reach. SEAZN is offered globally. You are responsible for complying with the laws of your place of residence.
Accounts. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and promptly notify us of any suspected breach of your account. You are responsible for activities under your account.
HEALTH & SAFETY NOTICE
No medical advice. The Services are for wellness education and habit‑building only. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and are not intended for the management of medical emergencies.
No emergency use. Do not delay seeking or disregard professional medical advice based on information obtained through the Services. If you are in crisis or think you may have a medical emergency, call your emergency number immediately.
Predictions & tips. Any risk scores, forecasts, or tips are informational only and based on self‑reported data you provide. You remain solely responsible for decisions about your health and lifestyle.
Information provided by SEAZN. The Services and any in‑app content (including scores, forecasts, articles, and recommendations) are provided for general information only. They do not offer advice on which you should rely. You must obtain professional or specialist advice before taking—or refraining from—any action based on information from the Services.
We make reasonable efforts to keep content current, but we make no representations, warranties, or guarantees—express or implied—that information provided via the Services is accurate, complete, correct, or up to date.
SEAZN is not liable for your reliance on information provided. If the Services or their information cause physical or mental distress, stop using them and seek medical help immediately.
The Services are not medical advice and should not be relied upon as such. Under no circumstances do the App or Services recommend particular treatments, drugs, devices, or procedures for specific individuals. Always consult a suitably qualified health professional before making decisions about whether treatment is necessary and, if so, which treatment to pursue.
References to research, third‑party products, treatments, or procedures are for information only and do not constitute endorsement or a recommendation.
PRIVACY & PERSONAL INFORMATION
Our Privacy Policy. Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference. For privacy matters, contact privacy@seaznhealth.com.
Sensitive data and consent. Certain information you provide (for example, menstrual symptoms, sexual wellness, or other health‑related data) may be considered “sensitive.” By submitting such information, you give us your explicit consent to process it for the purposes described in the Services and the Privacy Policy. You can withdraw consent at any time in the app settings; withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing already performed.
Data residency & transfers. Core user data is stored in Canada with our cloud provider(s). Payment data you submit is sent directly to our payment processor and is not stored by SEAZN. We may transfer personal information to trusted service providers in other jurisdictions subject to appropriate safeguards and contracts.
Child privacy. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided personal information, contact privacy@seaznhealth.com so we can delete it.
Automated processing & explanations. SEAZN uses automated processing to generate risk predictions and recommendations. You can request an explanation of the main factors that led to a prediction and ask for human review of decisions that affect you. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@seaznhealth.com. Additional information is provided in our Privacy Policy and in‑app.
Optional research programs. You can opt in to contribute your information for research or product‑improvement purposes. Participation is voluntary and requires a separate, explicit consent that you can withdraw at any time in the app. Details are provided in the Privacy Policy.
SUBSCRIPTIONS, FREE TRIALS, AND BILLING
Subscriptions. Some features require a paid subscription (“Subscription”). Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel.
Billing & payments. We use third‑party processors (e.g., Stripe) to process payments. By purchasing a Subscription, you authorize the processor to charge your payment method for the applicable fees, taxes, and recurring charges until you cancel. We do not store full payment card numbers.
Trials & promos. If we offer a free trial or promotional pricing, we will disclose the terms at sign‑up. When the trial ends, your Subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan unless you cancel before the trial period ends.
Cancellations. You can cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access until then.
Refunds. Where required by applicable consumer laws (including Québec consumer law), we will honor your statutory cancellation, refund, and chargeback rights. Otherwise, fees are non‑refundable except where legally required or as set out in the offer.
Taxes. Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be charged as required by law.
LICENSE & ACCEPTABLE USE
License. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for personal, non‑commercial purposes.
Prohibited conduct. You agree not to: (a) misuse the Services; (b) reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law; (c) access the Services using automated means without permission; (d) circumvent access controls or security; (e) transmit malware, spam, or harmful content; (f) use the Services to provide medical advice or any regulated service without appropriate authorization.
User content. You are responsible for content you submit. You grant SEAZN a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to use, reproduce, adapt, and display your content solely to provide and improve the Services. You represent that you have the rights to the content you submit.
Feedback. If you provide suggestions or feedback, you grant SEAZN a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty‑free license to use them without restriction or compensation.
THIRD‑PARTY SERVICES
The Services may link to or integrate with third‑party services (for example, Stripe for payments; cloud hosting providers). Your use of third‑party services is subject to their terms and privacy policies. SEAZN is not responsible for third‑party services.
CHANGES TO THE SERVICES
We may add, modify, or discontinue features. If we discontinue a material feature in a paid plan, we will provide notice and, where appropriate, a pro‑rated credit or refund in accordance with applicable law.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error‑free, or that results will be accurate or reliable. These disclaimers do not limit any non‑waivable statutory warranties that apply to you.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SEAZN and its affiliates, licensors, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Services; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your content.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for all claims relating to the Services in any 12‑month period is limited to the greater of (i) the amount you paid to SEAZN for the Services in that period, and (ii) CAD $100. This section does not purport to limit liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or bodily injury where such limitation is prohibited by law.
GOVERNING LAW; VENUE; CONSUMER RIGHTS
Governing law & venue. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Courts located in Montréal, Québec will have non‑exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or related to these Terms.
Consumer rights preserved. Nothing in these Terms limits your non‑waivable consumer rights under applicable law (including the Québec Consumer Protection Act, where applicable). If you are a consumer in Québec, any provisions that are prohibited or inapplicable under Québec consumer law are severed to the minimum extent necessary.
No mandatory arbitration or class‑action waiver. To the extent you are a consumer, these Terms do not require arbitration and do not waive your right to bring or participate in a class action where such waiver is prohibited by law.
INTERNATIONAL TERMS
Legal bases & rights. If you are in a region that grants specific privacy rights (for example, the EU/EEA/UK), those rights are described in our Privacy Policy.
Transfers & safeguards. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we apply appropriate safeguards and contracts as described in our Privacy Policy.
LANGUAGE
Availability. SEAZN is available in English and French.
Interpretation. If there is a discrepancy between language versions, the version more protective of the consumer will govern to the extent required by law.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice (e.g., in‑app notice or email). Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance.
TERMINATION
You may stop using the Services at any time, and you can delete your account at any time from in‑app settings or by contacting support; deletion may be subject to brief administrative processing and does not affect fees already paid unless required by law. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or use the Services in a manner that creates risk of harm. Upon termination, Sections 3, 5.3–5.4, 6–10, and 13–15 survive.
